Introducing the Boots mini Zoom, a weird offering to say the least, any of you reading are probably thinking “Boots made cameras?!” for anyone that doesn’t know Boots is chain store of chemists in the UK that were very large in the film & developing game.
So to answer the question, Boots don’t actually make cameras, this is actually a Ricoh Myport Zoom mini in disguise. Boots put their brand on quite a few cameras over the last 50 years.
Originally released in 1992, The Boots Mini Zoom (or Ricoh Myport Zoom Mini) is a 35mm compact cameras that features a ƒ4.5 38mm – 60mm zoom lens, autofocus, auto wind & rewind. It’s also got a few advanced inbuilt settings such as “Super Night Mode” which offers 1S exposures, Continuous shooting, and a selfie-timer!
