Next month Kodak will be discontinuing it’s Portra 160NC and 160VC films and to replace them Kodak have relaunched the Portra 160 film, this new film is Kodak’s proof that they are still dedicated to the film market. Kodak call the new film “advanced and innovative” the film is said to have finer grain, which will allow photographers today to get better quality scans, as most film photographers digitize their negatives. Sounds like Kodak are trying to push film into the digital world.
