The legendary colour photographer Steve McCurry will be at the Magnum Print Room on the 7th of September to sign some of his most classic books and a new book. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase a range of McCurry’s publications, including his new limited edition book The Iconic Photographs (Phaidon 2010) shown below. Titles available on the night will include In the Shadow of the Mountains, South Southeast, The Unguarded Moment, Looking East, Sanctuary, The Path to Buddha and Portraits.
Also in Palma, Spain there is currently an exhibition taking place of a retrospective of his fantastic work. A collection which has been growing and growing for more than 27 years and its still going. Included in the exhibition are several unpublished images as well as images taken during his most recent trips to India and Tibet that have never been seen before. The book signing at the Magnum Print Room is a free event and booking is not required. But please note, McCurry will only be signing books purchased on the day.
